 Arsenal Soccer School Oman hosted their first corporate event on 17th March 2011 for the Entrepreneur's Organization. 15 entrepreneurs of top companies across Muscat had a fun-filled evening with family and kids in Muscat Club, Wadi Kabir. Personalized invitation cards along with Arsenal Home Jerseys with the names and numbers of the participant, were given to the EO members prior to the event. The event started with a warm-up session in which the coaches acquainted them with basic skills, demonstration of Drills and Practices for Developing Footballers. This was followed by a Football Match in which all participated enthusiastically. Certificates were given out at the end of the event to all participants and prizes distributed for skills competition. Refreshments, DJ and Music, professional photographer covering the event, made it all an experience to remember for the EO members.

On Friday 11th February Arsenal Soccer School Oman took a team of U12 boys to play in a football fun day against the Arsenal Soccer School Dubai. The team took
an early flight to Dubai and the first stop, Dubai Mall. The children spent the morning visiting the Aquarium and Zoo seeing a vast range of sea life from sharks to sting rays and piranhas to penguins. After the excitement of the Aquarium the team travelled to the ‘Sevens’ venue
where the afternoon would consist of round robin matches between 5 teams.
Games were 7 a side with rolling substitutions. Overall both Oman teams
played 4 matches, 15 minutes in duration. The quality of football was pleasing
to watch throughout the afternoon from all the teams participating.
We would like to thank all players and parents who made the trip a success
and we hope to carry out similar trips in the future. |
